Did you know that our beloved breadstick has a fascinating history dating back more than three centuries? It originated in Turin, Italy, in the 17th century, when court baker Antonio Brunero, on the instructions of the royal physician, created this food for the future King Victor Amadeus II of Savoy, who had difficulty digesting bread.

From that time, the breadstick spread throughout Italy, winning royal palates and becoming a symbol of Piedmontese culinary tradition. But what makes the breadstick so special? Its crispness, versatility and unique flavor make it perfect to accompany all kinds of dishes.
